Dracaena massangeana belongs to the dragon plant family, and its complete scientific name, D. fragrans, hints to its very rare amazingly scented blooming. It comes from the Agavaceae family and is typically an indoor plant. It can grow up to 1-2m if cared for. It loves very well lit environments, and can even take on full sun. It is an evergreen plant. All year long, mist water on the leaves, preferably soft water. It grows most during the spring and summer seasons.Water it regularly while letting the soil mix dry in the surface before watering again. Watering must be regular but limited, in order to not suffocate the plant’s roots. Watering every 4 or 5 days is largely sufficient during these months. When autumn starts, start reducing the amount of watering because the plant's water needs begin to decrease. Only when the soil is dry down to the first inch or so (a couple centimeters), water to moisten the entire soil mix clump again.
