Dracaena Marginata or the Madagascar Dragon Tree Plant, makes a big impact as an indoor plant. They grow to be tall trees that aren't just visually stunning in a space, but also remove harmful chemicals from the air. The Dracaena Marginata prefers medium light. It can survive in low light however this slows the growth rate of new leaves. Do not put it in direct sunlight, as this will burn the leaves. Only water your Dracaena Marginata when the top 1-2 inches of soil is dry using room temperate water. Yellow leaves indicate a thirsty Dracaena Marginata. Brown edges of a green leaf indicate overwatering. Use distilled water when possible. Dracaena Marginata Maintenance Tips The Dracaena Marginata does not like temperatures below 18 deg C. Trim or prune any yellow leaves and cut the brown spots off leaves with a sharp pair of scissors. WARNING: Dracaena Marginata are extremely poisonous to cats and dogs.
